University Libraries and the United States Patent and Trademark Office are hosting a discussion “Starting the Patent and Trademark Process.”

This presentation is for independent inventors to get more information on the patenting process.

This event is 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 18, in the Nebraska Union, Colonial Room A and B. The discussion will be about patents, trademarks and what resources are available.

There will be an opportunity to speak with USPTO staff to answer questions on ideas and protecting intellectual property.
