Morrill Hall visitors will be able to explore the world of plants during a Second Saturday Science Lab event 10 a.m. to noon Aug. 10.

Offered the second Saturday of every month at the University of Nebraska State Museum, the “Science Investigator” series offers children the opportunity to dive into a variety of science and natural history topics through hands-on activities. Prizes and science investigator ranks are awarded for every three events that kids attend.

Participation is free with regular museum admission. The investigations are open to children ages 5 to 10. Learn more about the series.
