Video: 4-H and county fairs in Nebraska
When COVID-19 put a stop to many events last summer — including many county fairs — Nebraska 4-H worked with local fair boards and other groups to make sure that youth development events could safely continue even in the face of a worldwide pandemic.
Kathleen Lodl, Nebraska’ 4-H program leader says in 2021, fairs are looking a lot more like they did pre-2020, though COVID-19 did leave a permanent mark on some events. Lodl took time earlier this week to talk about those changes with University Communication (top) and was interviewed by RFD TV.
