The university will host a lunar new year celebration on Jan. 26 in the Nebraska Union.

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will host a Lunar New Year celebration from 7 to 9 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Centennial Room of the Nebraska Union.

The celebration of the year of the rooster will include performances, a Lion Dance, photo booths, activities and free food. The event is free and open to the public.

This event is organized by the Office of Academic Success and Intercultural Services, Sigma Psi Zeta, Vietnamese Student Association, Sigma Beta International Fraternity, Sigma Lambda Phi Epsilon, Asian Student Union, and Kawasaki Reading Room.
