Love Library will host two free Esri workshops Nov. 14 and Nov. 16 for the university and Lincoln communities to celebrate National Geography Week from Nov. 12-18.

Esri, also known as Environmental Systems Research Institute, is an international supplier of geographic information system software, web GIS and geodatabase management applications.

The workshops are:

• Explore Story Maps, 11:30 a.m. to noon Nov. 14, Love Library, second floor link. Story Maps is software used to tell stories through geography and maps.

• Map your story: A Hands-on Workshop, 3 to 5 p.m. Nov. 16, Love Library, Witt Room 224. This workshop is for participants to learn how to use the Story Maps software hands on.
