A lab techniques workshop is offered to University of Nebraska–Lincoln students to help familiarize them with frequently used lab techniques.

These workshops cover the techniques researchers use every day in a lab setting. The first workshop, stock solutions and media making, is 5:30-7:30 p.m. Feb. 20 in Beadle E121.1. The workshop will provide students with hands-on experience learning how to make stock solutions of chemicals, what properties allows chemicals to go into solution, why we need stock solutions, and how to make different growth media.
