From 6:30-8 p.m. Sept. 17, Love Library will be hosting a session that will provide an introduction to the Foundation Center’s comprehensive online database Foundation Directory Online Professional in Room S221.

The Funding Information Network is a network of libraries, community foundations and other nonprofit resource centers that provide a suite of tools and resources useful to grant seekers. As a member of the Funding Information Network, the UNL Libraries provides a core collection of Foundation Center publications and a variety of other useful resources. One of the most valuable of the tools is Foundation Directory Online, which allows individuals and non-profit organizations to search for possible donors from more than 120,000 foundations and corporations. The online database is only available for use within Love Library to patrons.

Come and learn how to create customized searches to develop a targeted list of foundations that will match specific organization’s funding needs.

This free workshop is open to the public. Attendees are asked to register for a Community Member Computer Use card prior to the workshop if not already affiliated with UNL.
