Input sought from graduate students with university health insurance

To assess satisfaction and needs for student health insurance among them, a survey has been developed and distributed to graduate students through university email accounts.

The Bureau of Sociological Research is administering the survey to maintain confidentiality by providing survey results that de-identify data and protect identities. Ultimately, survey results will help inform various decisions about student health insurance and identify ways to improve communication to students about how to use their insurance. This is an important opportunity for graduate students to include their input.

How to access and complete the student health insurance survey:

  • To access your @huskers.unl.edu email, log in with your university username and password. If you aren’t sure what your @huskers.unl.edu email address is, you’ll find it listed under the Profile tab in MyRED.
  • Search “Kevin Harford” in your email using the search bar at the top. There are three emails with the following subject lines that will contain the link to the survey: Updated Link – Share your feedback on the University’s student health insurance
  • Make your voice heard about the University’s student health insurance plan
  • Use the link to complete the survey.

This effort is a joint project among the Office of Graduate Studies, Graduate Student Assembly, and Kevin Harford, Director of Risk Management for University of Nebraska Administration.
