The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Faculty Senate is scheduled to discuss a resolution on the April 22 March for Science and review an academic honesty report during its 2:30 p.m. April 4 meeting in the Nebraska Union Auditorium.

The meeting also includes reports from Chancellor Ronnie Green; Donde Plowman, executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer; and Michael Boehm, Harlan Vice Chancellor for the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources and University of Nebraska vice president for agriculture and natural resources.

Committee reports include the committee on committees, information technologies and services committee, and the executive committee.

Established in 1974, the Faculty Senate is a representative body of members elected by the faculty of Nebraska’s academic units. The senate is the university’s governing agency for dealing with issues that impact more than one college. It also acts as the official voice of the faculty.

Faculty senate meetings are open to the public.
