The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s faculty ombuds team — Marjorie Kostelnik and Rodrigo Franco Cruz — will begin supporting faculty on Jan. 13. The faculty ombuds are a resource who provide access to confidential, informal, independent and impartial assistance in managing conflicts and solving work-related problems outside the formal grievance processes.

Information on types of services provided, along with services not covered and frequently asked questions, are available at https://facultyombuds.unl.edu.

Faculty can contact Kostelnik and Franco Cruz at ombuds@unl.edu. In your message, include your name, email address, phone number, the best time you can be reached, and if you have an ombud preference. A personal, confidential appointment will be set up within two working days. To protect privacy, faculty should never include confidential details in any messages for the ombuds.

Information about staff ombuds services is available via human resources.
