The School of Art, Art History and Design presents the “2017 Biennial Faculty Exhibition” Jan. 18 through Feb. 3 in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery in Richards Hall. For the first time, the exhibition will include faculty research from all three areas of the School—Studio Art, Art History and Graphic Design.

A closing reception will be held on First Friday, 5 to 7 p.m. Feb. 3 in the Gallery. The event is free and open to the public.

In addition to the exhibition, the School of Art, Art History and Design has created the Curator, Critic, Collector Panel Discussion Series, which will also be held in the Eisentrager-Howard Gallery. The distinguished curator, critic and collector will each select the work of three faculty from the exhibition for a one-hour, informal conversation beginning at 2 p.m.

  • Jan. 26: L. Kent Wolgamott, art critic for the Lincoln Journal-Star
  • Feb. 1: Kathy and Marc LeBaron, respected Lincoln art collectors

“There is no telling what will be discussed, but one thing is certain, these discussions are sure to leave us thinking,” Derr said.
