Extension educators organized into regions

UNL Extension work includes a variety of farm-related workshops. Extension opens a celebration of its 100th year on May 8.

Nebraska Extension has realigned into accountability regions to better serve the Cornhusker State.

Under the new alignment, extension educators are assigned to a group of counties in which they are expected to connect in their individual focus areas with individuals, businesses, organizations and communities. The design is intended to strengthen Nebraskans’ linkage to extension programming, products and services.

Extension is a publicly funded, non-formal educational system linking the land-grant university and county government.
