The Confucius Institute at University of Nebraska–Lincoln is hosting a cooking class from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Nov. 13 at Leverton Hall, Room 206.

The classes are offered four times a year by Confucius Institute teachers. The cooking classes started in September 2012 by making traditional dumplings, and have been well received by the community.

The instructors demonstrate cooking two dishes in each class. The attendees have an opportunity for experience and to sample the dishes.

The Confucius Cooking Class Nov. 13 will demonstrate moo shoo pork and beef noodle soup.

The registration fee is $20. Register by calling 402-472-5370, emailing confucusinstitute@unl.edu or by going to the website.
