ASUN and the Black Student Union will host the webinar, “Night of Listening: Race and Inequality in Policy and Administration” with Black public officials from Lincoln and Omaha at 7 p.m. on Feb. 16, via Zoom.

The panelists will include: Sändra Washington, Lincoln City Council member; Bennie Shobe, Lincoln City Council member; Yohance Christie, Lincoln City Attorney; Shavonna Holman, President of the Omaha Public Schools Board of Education; and Jabin Moore, University of Nebraska at Omaha Student Regent and Student Body President.

Questions will be taken from the audience about their experiences as Black public officials in Nebraska. Register for the event online.
