The University of Nebraska–Lincoln celebrated Arbor Day by planting an Engelmann spruce tree on April 27.

Along with expanding Maxwell Arboretum on East Campus, the ceremony include a service award for Bud Dasenbrock, who served as the university's director of landscape services from 1978 to 1996. Click the image below to access a photo story about the ceremony.
