The University of Nebraska–Lincoln will hold a campus safety walk covering City and East campuses on April 27, beginning at 9 p.m.

The annual survey is a component of the university’s campus safety program and used to review landscaping, lighting, parking and other issues that relate to nighttime safety on campus. The walk will include representatives from a number of campus departments and units, including University Police, Landscape Services, Building Systems Maintenance, Parking and Transit Services, Housing, Women’s Center, Association of Students of the University of Nebraska, Faculty Senate and University of Nebraska Office Professionals Association.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to provide input. Members of the campus community can share landscape and lighting areas of concern by sending email to servicedesk@unl.edu.
